When I researched kabuki theatre I found a website that thoroughly explains what it is.

I found this site very useful, because it not only defines kabuki theatre but it shows pictures and examples of what it was like then.
I would have not liked kabuki theatre because women could only watch shows.
Women were not aloud to be onstage at all for any reason.
